challenging the impugned Transfer Order dated , 16.05.2018 issued by Respondent No.2, whereby the applicants have been directed to relocate from their present postings at Kanpur to to various different places i.e. New Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai other stations. The applicants have further assailed the consequential actions flowing from the said Transfer Order.

Upon initial consideration, this Tribunal, vide its interim Order , was pleased to restrain the respondents from dated 29.05.2018 compelling the applicants to move out of their current place of posting. The said interim relief remains in operation as on date.

The matter is listed today under the heading ‘Final

Hearing’. Learned Counsel for the applicants and Learned Counsel for the respondents have been heard at length. The parties reiterated their respective positions based on the pleadings, annexed documents, and previous interim orders passed in this case.

of changed circumstances over time, several applicants have either joined at their transferred stations, superannuated, or are still continuing at their present place of posting. He placed reliance upon the earlier decision of this Tribunal dated passed in , wherein a similarly
