ORAL ORDER Heard both the learned counsels for the parties at length.

2 . The applicant has filed this OA under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 to claim ex-gratia compensation of Rs.3,06,180/- with 18% interest thereon.

submitted a copy of letter dated 24.09.2024 stating that the payment of Rs.3,06,180/- has been made by way of Pay Order bearing No.002180 dated 24.09.2024 being a difference of Employees Compensation amount due to fatal accidental death occurred during the course of employment of the deceased employee on 22.05.2009.

4 . Learned counsel for the applicant Mr.

Deharia submits that the applicant has received the same. However, he submits that the respondents have not paid any interest to the applicant.

5 . Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the applicant may be directed to submit a fresh representation to respondent No.2 giving the specific date of entitlement for which interest is to be calculated.

6 that the applicant will make representation for the claim of the interest within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

. In view of the above, the respondent No.2 is directed to consider and decide the representation which will be filed by the applicant by passing a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law/rules and regulations within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.

8 . It is made clear that if the applicant is not satisfied with the decision of the respondent No.2, she will be at liberty to file fresh OA.

9 . The Original Application is, accordingly, disposed of in terms of the above order and directions. Pending MAs, if any, stand closed. No order as to costs.
