In this case, admitted facts of the matter are that the respondents department issued advertisement on 17.02.2012 inviting applications from the existing eligible in-service employees of the department for appearing at the Limited Departmental competitive Examination for the post of STA-B. The applicant was one of the candidates pursuant to the advertisement dated 17.02.2012. However, another employee, namely Sri Jayant Kumar Ranjit, challenged the advertisement before this Bench in OA No. 239/2012 wherein this Bench passed the interim order that the result of the selection shall not be published without the leave of this Bench. The respondents conducted the examination wherein the present applicant and one Mrs. S.Senapati appeared at the test. This Bench vide order dated 22.06.2017 in OA No. 239/2012 cancelled the process of selection and directed for initiation of fresh selection. The said order of this Bench was challenged by the present applicant before the Hon’ble High Court of Orissa in WP(C) No. 19137/2017 wherein the Hon’ble High Court of Orissa quashed the order of this Bench dated 22.06.2017 in OA No. 239/2012 in order dated 11.05.2022.
