1. The applicant is aggrieved that he has not been offered appointment in lieu of their acquired land.
2. Brief facts of the case are that land of the applicant area 0.070 hectare, part of Khasra No.7/2, total area 0.100 hectare was acquired by the Railways for construction of Rewa-Sidhi-Singrauli Railway line and an award to this effect was passed on 04.04.2018 (Annexure A-4). As per policy of the respondents in respect of acquisition of land and providing employment to affected/dependents, the applicant being affected person, submitted his candidature for employment along with all requisite documents. But nothing has been heard by the applicant. Hence, this Original Application has been filed.
3. The respondents have stated in their reply that in Clause 11 of the notification issued on 14.10.2016, it was clearly mentioned that the policy will be subject to change in the policy letter issued by the Railway Board from time to time. The Ministry of Railways subsequently vide RBE No.193/2019 dated 11.11.2019 has decided to withdraw the earlier policy of offering appointment in Railways to affected land losers and circular issued in this regard stands superseded after issua
