The applicants are aggrieved that they have not been offered appointment in lieu of their acquired land.

Brief facts of the case are that land of the applicants’ parents bearing Khasra nos.227/1/Min-1 admeasuring area of 0.048 hectares and Khasra Nos.231/1 admeasuring area of 0.302 hectares have been acquired by the Railways for the purpose of laying new broad gauge Railway line in Rewa-Sidhi-Singrauli. After fulfilling all formalities, an award of compensation was passed by the SDO/Land Acquisition Officer, Gopadbanas, Sidhi on 25.07.2017. As per policy of the respondents in respect of acquisition of land and providing employment to affected/dependents, the applicants being decedents of the affected persons, submitted their candidature for employment along with all requisite documents. The respondents, thereafter prepared a list of the candidates for verification on 17.01.2022 but nothing has been heard by the applicants. Hence, this Original Application has been filed.

3. The respondents have stated in their reply that in Clause 11 of the notification issued on 14.10.2016, it was clearly mentioned that the policy will be subject to change in the policy letter issued
