1.Since a common question of facts and law arises in the present O.A.s, they are being disposed of through this common order. However, for the sake of brevity and in terms of order dated 26.11.2025, the facts are being extracted from O.A. No. 4301/2024 with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties.
2. The reliefs prayed for in O.A. No. 4301/2024, reads as under:
“8.1 To quash and set aside the order dated 14.10.2024 (Annexure A-1).
8.2 To quash and set aside that amendment/notification dated 22.10.2018 (Annexure A-2) to an extent whereby respondents have wrongly amended the medical standards by incorporating disqualification on the ground of surgery to improve visual acuity.
8.3 To quash and set aside that Condition No. 13.1 of Advertisement or any other condition, to an extent which incorporates the medical standards by incorporating disqualification on the ground of surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity in the present selection process.
8.4 To quash and set aside the Standing Order No. HRD/04/2022, to an extent which incorporates the medical standards by incorporating disqualification on the ground of surgery of any kind to impr
