ORDER

1. The SWP No.2171/2018 was transferred from the Hon’ble High Court of Jammu & Kashmir at Jammu and was registered as T.A No.3753/2020 by the Registry of this Tribunal.

2. The present matter was filed before the Hon’ble High Court seeking following relief: -

a) allow the present writ petition;

b) command and direct the respondents to modify the order bearing No. 2460 of 2015 dated 11.08.2015 to the effect that the promotion so granted to the petitioner as Selection Grade Constable be given retrospectively from the date it was recommended i.e. 07.12.2007 on the analogy of the respondent No. 4;

c) command and direct the respondents to treat the petitioner as deemed to have been promoted as retrospectively from 07.12.2007 and release all the consequential benefits with due seniority;

d) ANY other writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit or proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.

3. The facts of the case as pleaded by the petitioner in his pleadings are as follows: -
