1. This Original Application has been filed under Section 19 of the A.T. Act, against the action of the official respondents in granting the reservation in promotion to the respondent no. 3 for the post of Deputy controller (Finance & Accounts), which is against the settled law laid down by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in M. Nagaraj and Others Vs UOI and Others (2006) 8 SCC 212 and in Civil Appeal No. 6631-6632 of 2015 (Arising out of SLP (Civil) Nos. 8366-8367 of 2012) titled as S. Paneer Selvam & Ors Versus Government of Tamil Naidu & Ors and the Hon'ble Apex Court in the case of B.K. Pavitra & Ors. vs Union of India & Ors, Civil Appeal No. 2369 OF 2011, decided on 9.2.2017.

2. By filing this Original Application, the applicant has sought the following relief(s):-

i) That the respondents be directed to make promotion for the post of Deputy Controller (Finance & Accounts) without providing reservation in promotion and accordingly promote the applicant in view of law laid down by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of M. Nagaraj (Supra) and in the case S. Paneer Selvan & Ors (Supra) and in the case of B.K. Pavitra & Ors. vs Union of Ind
