1. The WPC No.779/2020 was transferred from the Hon’ble High Court of Jammu & Kashmir at Jammu and was registered as T.A No.188/2020 by the Registry of this Tribunal.

2. The present matter was filed before the Hon’ble High Court seeking following relief: -

a) allow the present writ petition;

b) quash PHQ Order No. 956 of 2020 dated 06.03.2020, whereby and whereunder, respondents No. 4 to 9 have been promoted as Inspectors over the heads of the petitioner, even when they are junior to the petitioners;

c) quash final seniority list of Sub-Inspectors of J&K Armed Police as on 01.10.2019, issued vide Order No. 840 of 2019 dated 26.12.2019, to the extent, the petitioners, who are senior to the private respondents have been kept below the private respondents in the impugned seniority list;

d) command and direct the respondents to reframe the seniority list of Sub-Inspectors of J&K Armed Police (as on 01.10.2019) in such a manner that the names of the petitioners who are senior to the private respondents figure well above the private respondents; With further direction to the official respondents to place the case of the petitioners before the
