ORDER

1. The applicant has filed the present Original Application under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 seeking the following reliefs: -

a) to quash Order No. 543 of 2020 dated 08-02-2020 by which the respondents have rejected the claim of the petitioner for antedated out of turn promotion by issuance of Writ of Certiorari;

b) to issue directions to the respondents to give retrospective effect of promotion to the post of Head Constable to the petitioner w.e.f. 29-01-2009 and to give all other consequential benefits of promotion by giving similar treatment to the petitioner as is given to one similarly situated person Jagdish Raj who has been given out of turn promotion to the post of Head Constable vide Order no. 307 of 2009 dated 29-01-2009 by issuance of writ of Mandamus;

c) to issue directions to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for out of turn promotion to the post of ASI retrospectively after giving the benefit of promotion to the post of Head Constable to the petitioner w.e.f. 29-01-2009 in light of the recommendations made by the higher authorities and also by extending the similar treatment
