1.Heard Shri Saiyed Jafar Ishtiaque, as well as Shri B.D. Tiwari, learned counsel for the applicants and Shri Devendra Narayan Pandey, learned counsel for the respondents.
2. The applicants have filed this Original Application under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, seeking following main relief(s):-
“(i) That the Hon'ble Tribunal may kindly be pleased to command or direct the respondents to grant the benefits of amears of upgraded Pay Scales to the applicants, while service as Auditors, Senior Auditors, Section Officer (A/cs) and Assistant Accounts Officers etc. for the period w.e.f. 01.01.1996 to 18.02.2003 instead of 19.02.2003 granted by Govt. vide Ministry of Finance (Deptt. of Expenditure) New Delhi letter No. F.N.-6/82/E III (B)/91 dated 28.02.2003 in accordance with the Judgement and order dated 17.09.2025 passed by Hon'ble CAT Chandigarh in OA No. 60/315/2022 in the case of Defence Accounts Pensioners welfare Association and Shri R. L. Sharma Ex. ACDA of Defence Accounts Department Vs. Union of India through Secretary Govt. of India, Ministry of Defence, South Block New Delhi and Controller
