Order

The applicant has approached this Tribunal under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 seeking payment of House Rent Allowance for the relevant period and refund of the amounts allegedly recovered towards licence fee, water charges, electricity charges and other miscellaneous charges, along with consequential reliefs. The reliefs prayed for by the applicant are as under:-

“(I). To issue an order or direction to the respondents to make payment of House Rent Allowance for the period from 16.06.2009 to 19.08.2009, 20.08.2009 to 31.07.2010 and 01.11.2011 to 11.12.2013 with Compound interest, to the applicant.

(II) To issue an order or direction to the respondents to make payment of license fee, water charge electricity bill and other miscellaneous charges, which ever have been illegally and unjustly deducted from his salary, to the applicant for above period.

(III) To issue order or direction, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper, in the facts and circumstances of the case.

(IV) To award cost of the petition in favour of the applicants.”
