These applications having been heard on 4th June, 2026 the Tribunal on 12th June 2026 delivered the following :
O R D E R
HON'BLE Ms.V.RAMA MATHEW, ADMINISTRATIVE MEMBER
This is common order passed in respect of O.A.No.180/446/2024, O.A.No.180/498/2024 & O.A.No.579/2022 as the underlying issues are same and there are minor variations in factual matrix which do not affect the outcome in these issues.
All these O.As are regarding recruitment through the UPSC under the OBC NCL category. The Hon'ble Supreme Court has in the particular case of Union of India vs. Rohith Nathan , 2026 KHC Online 6175 laid down the principles based on which these have to be considered. Since the law has been laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, we will first examine the principles laid down and then examine the facts of each case to see whether they fit into the matrix as laid down as per the terms of the aforesaid order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
The lead case has been taken as O.A.No.180/446/2024 which has been argued. There has been additions in other cases which would be added at appropriate juncture.
