1.The present appeal is directed against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 25.02.2020 passed by the learned Additional Session Judge, Kabirdham in ST No.10/2019, whereby the appellant has been convicted under Sections 302 & 201 of IPC and sentenced to undergo life Digitally signed by RAMAKANT NIRALA imprisonment and RI for 2 years, respectively, with default stipulations.

2.The prosecution case, in brief, is that the complainants Parmeshwar Chandrawanshi and Khorbahrin lodged a report to the concerned police station upon giving information by the appellant that his daughter-in-law Dhanni Bai has died by falling from stairs, upon which merg was registered and during investigation, it was found that the appellant has committed murder of the deceased by assaulting her by stone on her head and slamming her on earth and kept the dead body of the deceased near stairs, thereafter offence under Sections 302 & 201 was registered against the appellant.
