1. Though the matter was directed to be listed for hearing on 17.4.2025, looking to the urgency of the matter, it is taken up today.
2. By the instant petition, the petitioner/prosecutrix seeks the following reliefs:
“10.1 To permit the petitioner to terminate her ongoing pregnancy through registered medical practitioners at any approved private or government center or Hospital.
10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct then State to form a panel of expert doctors either at District Hospital Bilaspur, District Bilaspur or any Government Medical Hospital Raipur as early as possible for termination of pregnancy of the petitioner
10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased To kindly make any other order that may be deemed fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including awarding of the costs to the petitioner."
10.4 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased direct the respondent to collect the DNA of unborn child after termination so that DNA of the unborn child and accused able to matc.
10.5 Any other order/relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit, proper and just in the facts and circumstances of the present cas
