22/02/2024 This criminal appeal preferred under Section 374(2) of the CrPC is directed against the impugned judgment of conviction and order of sentence dated 24.05.2022 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Dhamtari, District Dhamtari in Sessions Case No. 55/2022 by which the appellant has been convicted for offence under Sections 302 of the IPC and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life and to pay fine of RS. 1,000/- in default of payment of fine to further undergo simple imprisonment for three months.
