1. This is the first bail application filed under Section 483 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail to the applicant who has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 181/2025 registered at Police Station, Tikrapara, District Raipur (C.G.), for the offence punishable under Section 21-C of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
2. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that on 06.03.2025, the Police received secret information from the informant and on the basis of such information, the Police nabbed the applicant and another co-accused at Naya Bus Stand, Bhatagaon, Raipur, who were in a motorcycle and seized 105 bottles of cough syrup of codin phosphate and triprolidine hydrochloride syrup onerex TM each containing 100 ML from their possession. Thereafter, the applicant was arrested for the offence under Section 21-C of the NDPS Act.
