3. Learned Counsel appearing for the Appellant submits that the appellant is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the case. He submits that the appellant has been arrested on the basis of memorandum whereas no incriminating material has been recovered from his possession. He further submits that the appellant is in jail since 06.12.2023 and the trial is likely to take considerable time for its completion, therefore, the appellant may be released on bail.
5. I have heard learned Counsel appearing for the parties and perused the record.
8. However, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and to ensure that the trial is concluded as expeditiously as possible.
