1. This first anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 has been filed by the applicants, who are apprehending their arrest in connection with Crime No. 106/2025 registered at Police Station – Patna, District – Koriya (C.G.) for the offences punishable under Sections 108 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

2. Brief facts of the prosecution case are that the applicant, Ramdev Vishwakarma, is the father of Neelam Vishwakarma, who had fallen in love with one Raju Singh, and they wanted to get married. The father of the deceased and other relatives did not like Raju Singh and wanted to get Neelam Vishwakarma married somewhere else. Accordingly, the marriage of Neelam was fixed with another boy, but the deceased did not like the said boy. On 06.05.2025, the deceased called Raju Singh near her house at about 10:00 PM, and while the deceased and Raju Singh were talking to each other, the father and relatives of the deceased saw them together. Thereafter, the applicants assaulted Raju Singh.
