2. Mr. Nitansh Jaiswal, learned Panel Lawyer, appearing for the State/respondent No.1 as well as Mr. Anil Gulati, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2, are present.
3. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following relief(s):-
“It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this petition and pleased to quash the F.I.R. no.172/2022 dated 02.09.2022 and charge-sheet no.158/2022 dated 10.10.2022 filed against the present petitioners in which the petitioners has been falsely implicated U/s 498A, 506, 34 of I.P.C. & 4, 5 of C.G. Tonhi Pratadna Act , in the interest of justice.”

Learned State counsel as well as learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 jointly submit that the co-accused namely Shyam Kumar Gupta has filed another petition being CRMP No.2810/2023, which came to be dismissed for want of prosecution on 14.06.2024, as none appeared to prosecute the matter on his behalf.
