1. The petitioner has preferred this petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking following relief(s):-
1. Issue an appropriate writ/order/direction to the respondent authorities, to decide and act upon the pending Digitally signed by BINI BINI PRADEEP PRADEEP Date:

representation dated 12.12.2025 of the petitioner, within a stipulated time frame, and/or
2. Direct the respondents to restore the Domestic electricity supply to the Petitioner’s premises immediately, at her domestic Service Connection No.1001925431 and not to disconnect the same till the genuineness of the due electricity bill is arrived at by considering the materials available with both the parties.
3. Any other relief as deemed fit by this Hon’ble Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier the respondents No.2 to 4/Electricity Department raised monthly bill for the electricity connection of the residential house of the petitioner between Rs.400- Rs.1000/- per month. But in the month of November 2017, the petitioner was suddenly given bill for Rs.2,02,850/- showing consumption of 5000 unit of electricity, whereas the petitioner’s average consumption of electricity is between 100-200 unit. He next submits that grievance was raised by the petitioner before the Permanent Lok Adalat (Public Utility Service) Ambikapur, Distt. Surguja by filing Case No.32/2017, in which vide Order dated 07.09.2021, the Permanent Lok Adalat has directed the respondents/Electricity Department to provide the petitioner with an average electricity bill for the month of Nov 2017, based on her previous consumption bills, however instead of complying with the order, the respondents/electricity department has now raised bill of Rs.4,08,950/- vide Annexure-P/4 and also disconnected electric supply of the residential house of the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner has also requested the respondents/electricity department vide Annexure-P/5 to give monthly break- up of the consumption, but it has not been given. He further submits that representation dated 12.12.2025 (Annexure-P/1) has been given by the petitioner to respondent No.4, but the same has not been decided yet. Therefore, he submits that this petition may be disposed of directing respondents No.2 to 4 to decide the representation of the petitioner and restore the electricity supply to the residential house of the petitioner at her Domestic Service Connection No.1001925431, immediately.
3. In reply, learned counsel for respondents No.2 to 4 submits that representation dated 12.12.2025 of the petitioner shall be decided expeditiously and electricity supply shall also be restored.
4. Having considered the limited prayer of the petitioner, this petition is disposed of directing the respondents No.2 to 4/Electricity Department to restore the electricity supply/electricity connection (Domestic Service Connection No.1001925431) t
