1) By way of this petition, petitioner has sought following relief(s):-

10.1) That, the Hon'ble Court be pleased to call the entire record pertaining to the case of petitioner from the respondent for kind perusal.

10.2) That, the Hon'ble Court by issuing appropriate writ may kindly be please to direct the respondent no.2 & 3 to consider the candidature of the petitioner for basis of bachelor of science (Biotechnology degree).

10.3) That, the Hon'ble Court by issuing appropriate writ may kindly be direct the respondent no.2 & 3 to give appointment to the petitioner on the post of lecturer (zoology) at the earliest.

10.4) Any other relief or relief (s) which this Hon'ble Court may think proper in view of the facts and circumstances of the case may also kindly be granted.

2) Facts of present case are that an advertisement was issued by Directorate of Public Instructions, State of Chhattisgarh on 9.3.2019 for recruitment on various posts including 200 posts of Lecturer (Biology). Minimum educational qualification for the said post was post graduation/ equivalent degree in concerned subject. Petitioner appeared in the examination and found place at S.No. 158 in Select List but her candidature was not considered on the ground that she completed her graduation in Biotechnology subject and subjects like Zoology and Botany have not been studied by her.

3) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner who is a post-

graduate in Zoology completed her graduation in biotechnology and her candidature has not been considered by the respondent authorities on the grounds that subjects like zoology and botany were not studied by her at graduation level. He further submits that since the minimum educational qualification for appointment to the post of Lecturer (Biology) was post graduation which the petitioner already possesses, therefore, respondent authorities ought to have considered the candidature of petitioner. He prays to allow this petition.

4) On the other hand, learned State counsel submits that petitioner did not study zoology and botany at graduation level, therefore her considered and the determination of equivalent qualifications remains within the exclusive jurisdiction of the recruitment agency, therefore this petition deserves to be dismissed.

5) I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record.

6) Perusal of documents annexed to the petition would indicate that petitioner completed her graduation in biotechnology in year 2011 and post-graduation in zoology in year 2017 whereas the minimum educational qualification for appointment to the post of Lecturer (Biology) was post graduation in concerned stream. It appears that the issue with regard to equivalence of qualification has not been decided by the respondent authorities, therefore this petition at this juncture is disposed reserving liberty in favor of petitioner to make a representation ventilating her grievances before the Director, Directorate Of
