10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, direction or order in the nature of mandamus thereby directing the respondent authorities, particularly respondents No.2 to 4 to decide the objections dated 12.03.2026 and 13.03.2026 (Annexure-P/1) within a specific time
frame;
10.2 Any other relief, order or direction which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, including costs of this petition, may also kindly be granted in
favour of the petitioner.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are resident of village Dudumchuwa, PH No.3, RIC Kenduwa, Tahsil Saraipali, Distt. Mahasamund. Village Mouhadipa is an integral part of village Dudumchuwa comprising approximately 150 hectares of land and has never been a separate revenue village. He further submits that the respondent authorities have initiated action for treating Mouhadipa as a separate revenue unit and are proceedings with boundary determination and correction of revenue records without issuing any prior notice and without following the due process of law. He further submits that said action has been undertaken without passing any resolution of Gram Panchayat and Gram Sabha and without providing opportunity of hearing to the affected villagers. Therefore, the petitioners and other villagers have filed representations before Sub Divisional Officer(Revenue), Saraipali on 13.2.2026 (Annexure-P/1) and before Collector, Mahasamund on 12.3.2026. Hence, it is prayed that this petition may be disposed of at this stage directing the Collector, Mahasamund to decide the aforesaid representation dated 12.3.2026 submitted by the petitioners and other villagers, within the specific
period.
