Per Ramesh Sinha, C.J .

1. The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioner seeking following relief(s):-

“10.1 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue direction/directions, writ/writs in the nature of certiorari and set aside the Gazette Notification dated 25.09.2014, which is ultra virus and unconstitutional, after coming new RPwD Act, 2016.

10.2 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus and direct to the respondent / State of Chhattisgarh to comply with the " The Right of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 " and Rule namely " The Chhattisgarh Right of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2023 " and constitute the committee for identification the post for particular disability under the State Government.

10.3 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue direction/directions, writ/writs in the nature of mandamus and direct the Respondents to follow the notification issued by the Central Government dated 04.01.2021 in absence of benchmark disabilities under the State of Chhattisgarh.

10.4 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief(s), which is deemed fit and proper in the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case.”

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide notification dated 25-02-2026 the grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed. Therefore, the present petition may be disposed of.

3. Learned counsel for the State also submits that the notification dated 25-02-2026 is annexed as Annexure R/8 at page No.28 of the reply.

4. Considering that in view of the notification issued by the Department of Social Welfare, Mantralaya, Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, dated 25-02-2026, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed, the present petition is disposed of.
