1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:-

“10.1. That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, thereby directing the respondent No.3 to forthwith conclude the departmental enquiry proceedings against the petitioner and pass final order on the basis of findings recorded by the respondent No.4 in enquiry report, within stipulated time, in accordance with law.

10.2. That, any other relief/order which may deem fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including award of the costs of the petition may be given.”

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submit that petitioner was subjected to departmental enquiry and after completion of enquiry, report was submitted by the enquiry officer before the respondent No.3 on 12.03.2024. He submits that since last more than 2 years, respondent No.3 has not taken any decision on the enquiry report submitted by the enquiry officer and therefore, direction be issued to respondent No.3 to pass orders on the enquiry report submitted on 12.03.2024.

3. Counsel for the State submits that grievance of the petitioner is against the respondent No.3 for whom he is not appearing.

4. On due consideration of submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the nature of grievance raised, the writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the respondent No.3 to consider and take appropriate decision on the enquiry report submitted by the enquiry officer on12.03.2024 in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a further period of 2 months from the date of receipt of the order, if already not taken decision.

5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this petition stands disposed of.
