1. The petitioner has preferred this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking following relief(s):-

10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the entire record pertaining to the case of the petitioner.

10.2 That, The Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to finalize the demarcation proceedings of the petitioner's said land, in furtherance of letters dated 19/06/2025 (Annexure-P/3), 20/06/2025 (Annexure-P/4), 04/07/2025 (Annexure-P/5), 29/08/2025 (Annexure-P/6) within stipulated time, preferably within a period of one week in accordance with law, in the interest of justice.

10.3 That, Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider and allow the application /representation filed by the petitioner (Annexure P/6) in accordance with law, in the interest of justice.

10.4 That, any other relief, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper together with cost of the petition.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the the petitioner is the recorded owner of land bearing Khasra No. 3/4A/2, situated at Halka No.16, RN Korba 1, Village Korba Tehsil & Distt. Korba, which he purchased vide a registered sale deed dated 06.10.2005. He further submits that certain influential persons have encroached upon the land and are using pathway of aforesaid land, therefore, the petitioner filed application for demarcation of the said land. He further submits that vide Order dated 19.6.2025 (Annexure-P/3) passed by Deputy Collector, Korba, a team of revenue officers was constituted for carrying out demarcation, however, till date, no demarcation has been carried out. He further submits that several notices were issued to the petitioner to remain present on the spot along with relevant documents and the petitioner was also present, but demarcation team itself failed to appear. He further submits that the petitioner subsequently filed an application before the Collector, Korba for redressal of his grievance, but the same has not been decided yet. Hence, it is prayed that this petition may be disposed of at this stage, with a direction to respondent No.2/Collector, Distt. Korba to take appropriate steps in respect of application (Annexure-P/7) filed by the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to the limited prayer of the petitioner.

4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record.

5. It is sorry state of affairs that despite constitution of a team of revenue officers vide Order dated 19.6.2025, and issuance of several notices dated 20.6.2025, 04.7.2025 and 29.8.2025, requiring the presence of the petitioner and other persons along with documents, the demarcation has not been carried out. Such inaction cannot be appreciated.

6. Having considered the limited prayer of the petitioner, this petition is disposed of at this stage, directing respondent No.2/Collector, Distt. Korba to take appropriate steps in respect of application (Annexure-P/
