1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:-

“10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to consider and decide the pending representation of the petitioner in accordance with law within a stipulated time frame.

10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion, as a one-time measure, within a stipulated time frame, along with all consequential benefits.

10.3 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any order relief as it may deems fit and appropriate.”

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submit that petitioner is working as Class IV employee and after completion of requisite period of service he became eligible for promotion on the post of Assistant Grade -III. Petitioner is not being considered for promotion, however some other similarly situated employees were promoted and therefore, he submitted representations before respondent No.3 on 25.08.2017 and 16.10.2017, however, till date representations have not been considered and decided. He contended that petitioner may be permitted to submit a fresh comprehensive representation with all supporting documents before respondent No.3 and direction be issued to concerned authority to consider and take decision on the representation filed by him at the earliest preferably within a specific time period.

3. Learned counsel for the State submits that in view of the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioner, he is having no objection.

4. On due consideration of the submission of learned counsel for respective parties, the writ petition at this stage is disposed of permitting the petitioner to submit fresh comprehensive representation along with all supporting documents, if any, before respondent No.3 and in the event, such representation is submitted, concerned authorities shall consider and take decision on the representation, in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a further period of 3 months from the date of receipt of the representation.

5. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of
