1. By way of the instant petition, the petitioner prays for the following relief:-
“10.1 This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent no. 2 to consider and decide the pending appeal under section 262 of Chhattisgarh Police Regulation of the petitioner at the earliest, in the interest of justice.
10.2 This Hon'ble Court may further be pleased to pass an appropriate order or issue writ as deemed fit under the facts and circumstances of the case.”
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had earlier challenged the order dated 16.02.2026 by filing WPS No. 2511/2025, which was dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to avail the appropriate statutory remedy. Pursuant thereto, the petitioner preferred an appeal under Section 262 of the Chhattisgarh Police Regulation before respondent No.2.
