No.1 and perused the impugned FIR as well as material

brought on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that

there is a matrimonial dispute between petitioner No. 1

and respondent No. 2 and marriage between them was

solemnized on 11.12.2021 and the present FIR has

been lodged by respondent No. 2 against the petitioners

for harassment on 21.10.2025. He further submits that

the present matter be referred to the Mediation Centre

of this Court being matrimonial in nature as there may

be chances of compromise between the parties.

Considering the fact that the dispute arrived at

between the parties i.e. petitioner No. 1 and respondent

No. 2 is matrimonial in nature, we deem it appropriate to

make an effort to get the said dispute settled by way of

mediation.

In view of the above, petitioner No. 1 shall deposit

a sum of Rs. 1,00,000/- with the Mediation Centre of this

Court on or before 10.08.2026 and the said amount

shall be paid to respondent No. 2 upon her appearance

before the Mediation Centre on 10.08.2026.

The matter is remitted to the Mediation Centre of

this Court. The parties are directed to appear before the

Mediation Centre on 10.08.2026.

List this matter on 18.08.2026, along with the

report of the Mediation Centre.

Till the next date of listing, further proceedings

pending before the Judicial Magistrate First Class,

Kunkuri in Criminal Case No. 1542/2026 shall remain

stayed.

If petitioner No. 1 fails to deposit the sum of

Rs. 1,00,000/- with the Mediation Centre of this

Court by 10.08.2026, interim relief granted herein

shall stand vacated and the petition shall stand

dismissed without any further reference to the

Bench.

It is also made clear that, if a final settlement is

arrived at between the parties, the aforesaid amount so

deposited shall be adjusted towards such settlement.
