Second Appeal No. CIC/SBIND/A/2023/649165

1. The Appellant filed an RTI application dated 17.08.2023 seeking information on the following points:

 Kindly find attached the Conduct of SBI Employee Mrs. Shefali Gupta (SBI Employee, P.F. ID-59***20), which mentions about the Legal/Criminal/Forgery Court Cases ongoing against her and the RTI Reply stating that she has not intimated SBI about any of the ongoing Legal cases against her.

Since, all the criminal cases against Mrs. Shefali Gupta are ongoing since 2016, there is every likelihood that she has been giving false declarations to her esteemed employer SBI, about the same.

Pertaining to the above, kindly advise the following:

(i) Kindly provide the number of false declarations furnished by Mrs. Shefali Gupta to SBI, stating that no Criminal Court Cases are ongoing against her.

(ii) Kindly provide me a copy of each false declaration since 2016, where Mrs.

Shefali Gupta has stated to SBI that no Criminal Court Cases are ongoing against her.

(iii) Kindly specify, if Mrs. Shefali Gupta is eligible for continuance of service, given that there are Criminal and Forgery Cases ongoing against her.
