Information sought:

The Complainant filed an RTI Application dated 02.11.2018seeking information on the following five pointspertaining to acquirement of land for Double Track Railway Line – Sattur Railway Station.

“Please find the enclosed copy of the letter under number 13.08.21, 5/2610/2018 dated 03.09.2018 of Public Information Officer & HQRS Deputy Tahsildar, Sattur Taluk Office (marked as A1) (documents related to Al, are marked as A2 & A3], Whereby I was intimated under RTI Act that Housing Plot No 22 of the layout plan covering the area of 2838 sq.ft (264sq.m) just adjoining the western side of Sattur Railway Station falling under New Survey Number 8/6 was proposed towards acquirement for Double Track Railway Line by the Railway Authorities and that the proposal for doing so, was sent to Railway Authorities. I am the legal owner of the said land & in possession of the same. TITLE IS CLEAR.

In this connection, the following information on the subject mentioned supra, may please be provided under the RTI Act 2005.

1) Whether the said proposal, sent by the Tahsildar, Sattur Taluk is to be implemented ornot.

2) If yes, when it will be implemented.
