ORDER

1. The Appellant filed an RTI application dated 19.02.2022 seeking information on the following points:

 Kindly note that I am having some issues with HDFC Bank and have approached RBI BO earlier (vide request no. 202122022004054) for resolution of the same.

(i) Please furnish details of actions taken on my request (no. 202122022004054) and all related notings/ correspondences in this regard. Please inform also the kind of efforts put in by RBI to help resolve the issue.

(ii) I understand that, when RBI BO accepts an application (after due checking on its merits), RBI is supposed to give a logical conclusion to the said application.

In the instant case, please provide reasons behind stated decision of RBI in line with that of HDFC Bank. If RBI had to accept the stand of HDFC Bank (I already had intimated the decision of HDFC Bank in my application to RBI BO) in the matter, there was no need for RBI to accept my application in the first instance.

Please provide reasons also behind your decision in first accepting my application and then rejecting the same.
