ORDER

FACTS

The Appellant vide his RTI application sought information, as under:-

“Furnish the CCTV footage of the official training provided to Lab Assistant promoted from Lab Attendant under taken by ANIIMS / DHS Port Blair in his different capacity from during 1st April to 30th June 2018. The information to be contain with CCTV Footage of OPD camera, blood bank nearby camera, nearby camera of Room No. 29 and auditorium camera.”

The CPIO and Assistant Director (Admn.) vide letter dated 30.10.2018 transferred the RTI application to PIO/OSD (ANIIMS), DHS, Port Blair. Dissatisfied due to non-receipt of any response from the PIO/OSD (ANIIMS), DHS, Port Blair, the Appellant approached the FAA. The FAA vide order dated 07.01.2019 directed the PIO, ANIIMS to provide the requisite available information to the Appellant. The Compliance of FAA order, if any, is not thereon record.Thereafter, the Appellant filed a Second Appeal before the Commission with a request to provide information and impose penalty on the CPIO.
