1. The Appellant filed an RTI application dated 02.08.2022 seeking for the ‘copies of (or, if published on the website, precise URLs) of all DOPT orders since 2005 relating to:

1. Constituting RTI Cell in DOPT

2. Designating RTI Nodal Officer in DOPT

3. Designaion RTI Transparency Officer in DOPT’ CIC/DOP&T/A/2022/656178 2. The CPIO, Admin-I replied vide letter dated 31.08.2022 stating as under:-

1. “No record is available.

2. The order of posting of current RTI Nodal Officer, to the i.e. Shri S.K. Mishra, may be provided applicant. Further it may also be informed that earlier to this posting, RTI section generally fell under the purview of the US (Admn.). So, respective US {Admn) used to be the RTI nodal officers. The posting orders of US (Admn) which are readily available are also furnished to the applicant. Further, since the information has been sought since 2005, all the posting orders of US (Admn) are scattered across various files. Hence, the information sought is not available in the compiled form and compiling the same would disproportionately divert the resources of this Deptt.
