1. The issue under consideration arising out of the second appeal dated 01.08.2021 include non-receipt of the following information sought by the appellant through the RTI application dated 25.04.2021 and first appeal dated 18.12.2020:- Applicant is one of the account holders for the said account and request to provide the information for the saving bank Account No *****7122 as below:- (i) Copy of the cheque No 983769 from front and back side (both side of the cheque) withdrawn on 11.02.2013 for Rs 2,00,000/- per statement enclosed.

(ii) Name of the person who presented the cheque No 983769 on 11.02.2013 and collected the cash over the counter/branch office, withdrawn on 11.02.2013 for Rs 2,00,000/- per statement enclosed.

(iii) Time of withdrawal as per CBS for cheque No 983769 withdrawn on

11.02.2013 for Rs 2,00,000/- per statement enclosed.

(iv) Name and address of the branch withdrawn for cheque No 983769,withdrawn on 11.02.2013 for Rs 2,00,000/- per statement enclosed.

(v) Copy of the cheque / withdrawal from front and back side (both side of the cheque) withdrawn on 14.02.2013 for Rs 20,000/- per statement enclosed.

(vi) Name of the person who presented the cheque on 14.02.2013 and collected the cash over the counter/branch office, withdrawn on 14.02.2013 for Rs

20,000/- per statement enclosed.

Succinctly facts of the case are that the appellant filed an application dated 25.04.2021 under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (RTI Act) before the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO), Punjab National Bank, Kanpur. The CPIO vide letter dated 09.07.2021 replied to the appellant. Aggrieved by the same, the appellant filed first appeal dated 18.12.2020. The First Appellate Authority (FAA) vide order dated 12.01.2021 disposed of the first appeal. Aggrieved by that, the appellant filed second appeal dated

01.08.2021 before the Commission which is under consideration.

3. The appellant has filed the instant appeal dated 01.08.2021 inter alia on the grounds that reply given by the CPIO was not satisfactory. The appellant requested the Commission to direct the CPIO to provide the complete information and take necessary action as per Section 20 (1) of the RTI Act.

The CPIO replied vide letter dated 09.07.2021 and the same is reproduced as under:- On the basis of information received from the concerned branch, point-wise reply is as under:- (i) The matter has been taken up with the branch office Malviya Nagar, Delhi and will be provided as and when received.
