Hon’ble Commissioner _ANANDI RAMALINGAM O R D E R
1. The Appellant filed an RTI application dated 26.04.2024 seeking information on the following points:
1) “Kindly provide soft copy of CCTV footage Undersigned case listed for hearing on 29-4-2024 before Hon'ble CCIC Mr. Heeralal Samariya.
2) Kindly provide detail of CCTV installed in each Court Rooms of Central Information Commission. These are used for hearing for virtual mode.
3) Kindly provide detail of CCTV installed in Central Information Commission building for safety of parties Visitors.
4) Kindly provide inspection of Point 1 to 3 records Kindly provide soft copy of records pointed out after inspection.”
2. The CPIO replied vide letter dated 08.05.2024 and the same is reproduced as under:-
“Point no. 1: The information cannot be provided for security purposes and is exempt from disclosure under Section 8(1)(g) of RTI Act.”
3. Dissatisfied with the response received from the CPIO, the Appellant filed a First Appeal dated 10.
