2. Please provide the copy of complete Report/ Minutes of the committee constituted by the Indian Air Force to forward Gallantry Medal/Award & Service Award to Ministry of Defence, Government of India for 15 August

2012.

3. Please provide the copy of complete Report/ Minutes of the committee constituted by the Indian Air Force to forward Gallantry Medal/Award & Service Award to Ministry of Defence, Government of India for 26 January 2013.”

The CPIO furnished a reply to the Appellant on 11.09.2023 stating as under:

“Information sought vide your ibid RTI application is held with this Public Authority in fiduciary capacity and no larger public interest is served by disclosure of such information and exempted under Sec 8 (1) (e) of RTI Act 2005. Further, ibid information also falls in the category of 'Personal Information', the disclosure of which has no relationship to any public activity or interest, and it would cause unwarranted invasion to the privacy of the individual. Hence, the same is also exempted from disclosure under Sec 8 (1) (j) of RTI Act 2005.”
