The Appellant filed an RTI application (online) dated 27.12.2022 seeking the following information:

“In this respect, I request for the following information on all the 26 points for (i) for the period 01.01.2018 till 25.12.2022 and (ii) for all the MCD parks as well as (iii) on the internal roads/lanes/bylanes of AC block (Residential + Market), for all such Trees / forest produce etc inside AC Block Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-110088:

1. Please inform me the individual application wise details of all such Requests submitted for permission to Tree Officer (DCF(W) till mid of year 2021 and after that to DCF(N)} in last 60 months i.e. from 01.01.2018 till 25.12.2022 for cutting/pruning / trimming of any tree(s) and forest produce for all the MCD parks as well as lanes and bylanes of AC Block (Residential Market) Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-110088, as per Section 9(1) of DPTA, 1994.

2. Please provide me with the certified copies of all the documents submitted along with the each and every such application during the period 01.01.2018 till 25.12.2022, for the request for permission for felling/cutting/pruning/trimming of any tree(s) and forest produce for all the MCD parks as well as lanes and bylanes of AC Block (Residential + Market), Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-110088, as per Section 9(1) of DPTA, 1994.

3. Please inform me the documents in support of ownership over the land, which needs to be submitted to Tree officer for getting the permission for all the MCD parks as well as lanes and bylanes of AC Block (Residential Market), Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-110088 as per Section 9(1) of DPTA, 1994.

4. Please inform me that who is the authorized person to submit this request for permission for felling/ cutting/pruning/trimming of any tree(s) and forest produce for all the MCD parks as well as lanes and bylanes of AC Block (Residential Market), Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-110088, as per point number

3 above.

5. Please give me the individual application wise request for felling/cutting/pruning/trimming of any tree(s) and forest produce and numbers and kinds of trees which are requested for permission to be cut along with their girth measurements, in meters, for every such trees/forest produce for all the MCD parks as well as lanes and bylanes of AC Block (Residential Market), Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-110088, as per Section 9(1) of DPTA, 1994.

6. Please inform me the reasons given in request for permission for felling/cutting/pruning/trimming of any trees) and forest produce for all the MCD parks as well as lanes and bylanes of AC Block (Residential Market), Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-110088, as per Section 9(1) of DPTA, 1994.

7.
