1. The Appellant filed an RTI application (offline) dated 14.07.2023 seeking the following information:

“1. Please provide me the Documents, pieces of Information, etc., as per one List, each page duly signed, as per the R.T.I. Act, 2005 within the prescribed limit of 30 days from the receipt of this Application.

2. I retired from SAI on 20.10.2016 as Deputy Director. I am in dire need of Documents, pieces of Information, etc. under RTI Act 2005. I am really very sorry that I have to send this Application to You out of "Complete Compulsion" and not out of pleasure in such old age of 67 years suffering from High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Dislepimia, Prostatic Hyperplasia, Osteoarthritis, Baricosity, etc. Further, It is also brought to your notice that since there is no one to look after me and my wife (both Sr. Citizens and Retirees) in such old age in India, therefore we are leaving for Toronto (Canada) on 15-07-2023 for a few months to be looked after by our son and daughter who are Sr. Software Engineers there. Therefore, you are requested not to send any hard copy or copies by post at our residence in Patiala.

3. To the best of my Knowledge: Documents, pieces of Information, etc. which I need mainly come under Pers. Division, Legal Cell, etc. You know it is much better. Therefore, I am sending this same Application with separate IPO to both. You are therefore requested to provide me Documents, pieces of Information, etc. which come under your domain, Jurisdiction, etc. If the documents, Information, etc. required by me pertain to any other office or offices of SAI, you are requested to forward it to other office or offices of SAI in the interest of The Law of Transparency, Justice, etc. I do hope and trust that being a Responsible Public Servant, you will not return this Application to me in the Interest of The law of Transparency, Justice, etc.

4. In view of the Facts that there is Democracy, The Law of Transparency, Policy of "No Discriminations" i.e. Policy of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwash, Sabka Prayas" of our beloved Hon'ble Prime Minister Sh. Modiji who deserves to be saluted by me for his said Policy, "Fair Play by SAI", etc. in India, therefore I do hope and trust that you will not deprive me of said documents, pieces of Information, etc. under RTI Act 2005, will not defeat the very purpose of The Law of Transparency of our country in any way, etc. on one pretext or the other. If you do not want to answer some of the questions or provide some of the documents for one reason or the other, you may leave those questions and documents by giving reason or reasons in respect of each question or document but kindly do not reject or return this entire Application in the Interest of Law of Transparency, Fair-play, etc.
