Information sought:

1. The Appellant filed an RTI application dated 17.12.2024(online) seeking the following information:

“िनवेदन पूव(cid:6981)क कहना ह ै(cid:7408)क जन सूचना अिधकार 2005 अ(cid:7146)तगत (cid:7079)(cid:7021)तुत आवेदन प(cid:7074) के मा(cid:7007)यम "प(cid:7074)ांक-19/2024/ काया(cid:6981)-(cid:7088)ी(cid:6996)वालामुखी मि(cid:7008)दर / (cid:7408)दनांक-19.11.2024 धा(cid:7414)म(cid:6981)क एवं पौरािणक धरोहर (cid:6996)वालामुखी गुफा को अित(cid:7059)मण म(cid:7334)ु एवं संरि(cid:6979)त (cid:7408)कये जाने के के संबध म(cid:7286) सूचना (cid:7408)दलाया जाय।

01.यह (cid:7408)क प(cid:7074)ांक-19/2024 / काया(cid:6981)-(cid:7088)ी(cid:6996)वालामुखी मि(cid:7008)दर/(cid:7408)दनांक-19.11.2024 धा(cid:7414)म(cid:6981)क एवं पौरािणक धरोहर (cid:6996)वालामुखी गुफा को अित(cid:7059)मण म(cid:7334)ु एवं संरि(cid:6979)त (cid:7408)कये जाने के संबध म(cid:7286) उजा(cid:6981) मं(cid:7074)ालय (cid:7021)तर से कृत/(cid:7079)चिलत काय(cid:6981)वाही क(cid:7409) पूण(cid:6981) सूचना (cid:7408)दलाया जाय।”

2. The CPIO furnished a reply to the Appellant on 08.01.2025 stating as under:

3. Being dissatisfied, the Appellant filed a First Appeal dated 18.01.2025. The FAA vide its order dated 09.04.2025, held as under:

“I have gone through your appeal and reply of CPIO, NTPC. The reply of CPIO, NTPC is in order and your RTI Application has been adequately responded to.

With this, your Appeal is disposed of.”

4. Feeling aggrieved and dissatisfied, Appellant approached the Commission with the instant Second Appeal.

Relevant Facts emerged during Hearing:

The following were present:-

Appellant: Absent.

Respondent: Sh. Vikash Kumar, CPIO-cum-DGM, NTPC Noida attended the hearing in person and Sh. Bikash Hela, Executive (R & R), NTPC attended the hearing through VC.

5. The Appellant did not participate in the hearing.

6. The Respondent submitted that information sought in the RTI application is not available and the same was furnished in the reply dated 08.01.2025.

7. A written submission has been received from the appellant vide letter dated 26.05.2026 and the same has been taken on record. The relevant extract of the same is as under:
