1. This is an application moved on behalf of the respondent/Union of India (UOI) seeking condonation of delay in filing a common counter- affidavit.
2. Mr Kirtiman Singh, Central Government Standing Counsel (CGSC), who appears on behalf of the Union of India (UOI), says that while the delay may be condoned, as indicated above by him, leave be granted to file a detailed counter-affidavit.
3. Accordingly, delay is condoned.
4. The common counter-affidavit, for whatever its worth, is taken on record.
