CM APPL. 36481/2024(u/S 151 of CPC on behalf of Petitioner seeking permission to travel abroad) 1.The instant petition has been filed challenging the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against the Petitioner at the instance of Respondents No. 2 and 3, in connection to the investigation being carried out against one Lanco Infratech Ltd. (LITL). The above-captioned application seeks interim relief to the extent of allowing the Petitioner to travel abroad for certain business purposes.
2.At the outset, Mr. Abhijat, counsel for Petitioner states that the Petitioner does not intend to travel to Bangkok as sought in the prayer clause. Accordingly, he is confining the reliefs sought in the instant application to allowing the Petitioner to travel to Sri Lanka from 12th July, 2024 to 16th July, 2024.
3.Mr. Abhijat submits that the Petitioner, being an Executive Director in two production houses, needs to undertake this travel for certain pre- production activities of an upcoming film. It is urged that the Petitioner wants to launch his son, Mr. L. Sahidev Vikram, who has already acted in two teenage movies and is one of the lead actors in the upcoming film.
