1. By way of present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., petitioner seeks quashing of Complaint Case No. 2956 of 2021 titled as Delton Cables Limited vs. Arun Kumar Khaitan as well as of order dated 12.12.2022 passed by the Metropolitan Magistrate, NI Digital Court – 02, Patiala House Court, New Delhi whereby petitioner has been summoned.

2. Briefly, the subject complaint relates to dishonour of cheques dated 03.02.2021 and 28.02.2021 bearing Nos. 000014 and 000020 for an amount of Rs.5,73,020/- and Rs.15,66,500 respectively (totaling of Rs.21,39,520/-), both drawn on HDFC Bank, Shah House, Kolkata, West Bengal. In the complaint, it is stated that the complainant company was engaged in the business of manufacturing wires, cables and switchgears.
