1. By way of the present application, the applicant/petitioner seeks modification of the order dated 05.07.2024 whereby the applicant was directed to be released on furlough for a period of three weeks on his furnishing two sureties of Rs.5,000/- each to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent.
2. Issue notice.
3. Notice is accepted by learned ASC (Crl.) for the State.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not been able to avail the benefit of the aforesaid order dated 05.07.2024 as he has not been able to arrange the two sureties. Learned counsel for the petitioner, upon instructions, prays that the said condition of furnishing two sureties be replaced with furnishing of personal bond and cash surety.
