The issue raised today by the petitioner is with respect to non-

payment of PPF to the petitioner which the school is bound to pay.

Despite service of notice to the Branch Manager, State Bank of India,

Naya Bazar, Khari Baoli, Delhi-110006, none is present.

November, 2023, directions had

been issued to the Branch Manager, State Bank of India, Naya Bazar, Khari

Baoli, Delhi-110006 for supplying details of the PPF account of the

petitioner Smt. Sukhvarsha Sharma, retired TGT of respondent no.2/ school.

Further, this Court had also directed for personal presence of the aforesaid

Branch Manager.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent no.2/school submits

that the school has already written number of letters to the bank. The

updated PPF account number of the petitioner has not been provided to

respondent no.2/school. It is submitted that respondent no.2/school is willing

to make all payments towards the PPF account to the petitioner, however, in

the absence of the correct PPF account number, it is unable to do so.

In view of the aforesaid, it is directed that authorized representative of

the school shall visit the State Bank of India, Naya Bazar, Khari Baoli,

Delhi-110006 and sit with the Branch Manager/Authorized Bank Official to

ensure that updated PPF account number of the petitioner is obtained by the

school representative.

In case the requisite information is not given by the bank to the

authorized representative of the school, the Branch Manager of SBI is

directed to be personally present on the next date of hearing. Intimation in

this regard shall be given by the authorized representative of the school to

the Branch Manager of the bank, by handing over copy of this order

personally. Proof of service to the Branch Manager shall be filed by the

respondent school in this Court before the next date of hearing, so that

appropriate orders for securing the presence of the Branch Manager of the

Bank are passed by this Court on the next date of hearing, if the need so

arises.
