1. The instant petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (“Cr.P.C”) has been filed by the petitioners seeking quashing of FIR bearing no. 687/2014 registered at Police Station Kirti Nagar, Delhi for offences punishable under Sections 354A/509/341/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (“IPC”) and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom.

2. Issue notice. Mr. Manoj Pant, learned APP accepts notice on behalf of the State.

3. Petitioners are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsel Mr. Rahul Tewari, Advocate and Investigating Officer (IO) SI Mandeep Kumar from Police Station Kirti Nagar, Delhi.

4. Brief facts of the present case are that on 13.10.2014, on the complainant of respondent no. 2/complainant, an FIR bearing no. 687/2014 for the offences punishable under Sections 323/354A/509/506 of IPC was registered at PS Kirti Nagar, Delhi against the petitioner. A cross FIR bearing no. 688/2014 for the offences punishable under Sections 354A/509/323/506 of IPC was registered at PS Kirti Nagar, Delhi against the brother of respondent no. 2 by Ms. Nupur Magoo daughter-in-law of
