1. The present appeal filed under Clause X of the Letters Patent of the then High Court of Judicature at Lahore, which stands extended to the High Court of Delhi, impugns the judgment dated 2nd February, 2024 (‘impugned judgment’), wherein the Respondent’s admission in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (‘AIIMS’), Guwahati has been confirmed and the Appellant’s prospectus for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (‘INI-CET’) for the January, 2024 session, has been declared as ex-facie arbitrary, to the extent it prescribed a particular period for issuance of OBC-NCL certificates (06th November, 2022 – 05th November, 2023) and a deadline for submission of the same. Accordingly, the W.P. (C) 15514/2023 (‘writ petition’) filed by the Respondent herein against the Appellant herein was allowed.
