1. The petitioner complains of discrimination in the matter of compensation assessed and granted for his land, expropriated under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (hereafter “the Act”) because for the same parcel of land, his co-owner received a higher rate of compensation; he therefore seeks redress under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, by these proceedings.
2.
