The court emphasizes the importance of amicable resolutions in tenancy disputes, allowing the quashing of FIR when parties confirm settlement without coercion.

Headnote:The Court analyzed the applicability of Article 226 of the Constitution of India alongside Section 528 of B.N.S.S. to quash FIR No.0329/2025 related to tenancy disputes where the parties reached an amicable settlement dated 11.08.2025. The court reaffirmed that the lack of coercion and the clear resolution of differences justified the quashing.
