% 26.08.2025 CRL.M.(BAIL) 926/2025 (suspension of sentence)
1. The present application has been filed seeking suspension of sentence during the pendency of the appeal.
2. By way of the accompanying appeal, the appellant seeks to assail the judgment of conviction dated 30.01.2024 vide which he was convicted for the offences under Section 377 /34 IPC and Section 6 POCSO Act and order on sentence dated 27.07.2024 vide which he has been directed to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 20 years for the offence punishable under Section 6 of POCSO Act along with payment of fine of Rs.10,000/- in default whereof, he was directed to further undergo simple imprisonment for a period of one month. He was extended the benefit of Section 428 CrPC.
3. Mr. Vidit Anand, Advocate enters appearance for the victim and states that he has been appointed by the victim to represent her.
